then don't. just virtualize windows in a sandboxed VM when you absolutely need some arbitrary bullshit capitalist compatibility.

virtualization isn't 'i have multiple operating systems I can run at startup' (that's what 'dual boot' is, right? I don't do macspeak; too proprietary), it's running a second operating system within the first on fake hardware that maps to real hardware, in such a way that it's not QUITE emulation. the instruction sets for it are a big reason intel gaming PCs usually use the i5's and high end enterprise machines tend to use i7's, where the gaming PC's are more extravagant in literally every other component. similar shit with AMD but their product lines have changed more over the years and I can't be bothered to keep up on years im not computer shopping.

it's like allocating it 1 GB of RAM, and it's real RAM that was allocated, but you have 16GB installed, and giving it two cores of your eight core processor while the other six are running your main OS and saying "oh, yeah, that's um.... we turned them off to save power or something. it's fine.". it's kind of like being a capitalist but to operating systems, with fake scarcity next to piles of real resources. and yes I am on drugs why do you ask?

You don't need to triple boot for VMs. Have you consider that the real reason is in fact.... liberalism?

I once deleted the iPod/music app off my iPhone years ago when they’d first let you delete their default apps and found that none of the audio playing would work until I reinstalled it

Isn't this like literally exactly what got their ass clobbered with an anti-trust lawsuit way back when in the 90s of aughts? Bottling Internet Explorer so it basically replaced regular windows Explorer in the GUI?
