[Image text: “A person’s ability to afford or tolerate a fully plant-based diet has no bearing on whether they can be vegan. The real issue is whether that person commits themselves to a life of anti-speciesism and ends their own contributions to the commodification and use of nonhuman animals as far as is possible and practicable in their own lives.”]

Veganism is not a diet. Veganism is about animal liberation.
That said, what you eating? This thread is a place to share food pics, recipes, meal plans, and other resources, and just be your bomb self.
Comrades who are vegan-curious may also participate in sharing recipes and such, but this is not a debate thread. Eat facists, not animals.

I have been making a vegan black bean chili just about every week and tonight I added corn and poblano pepper. Tasted really good.
Here's what's on my recipe list this week!
I made:
https://thehiddenveggies.com/tofu-marinade/ Cornell + Sweet Asian are winners so far, gonna try thai chili and balsamic next.
https://www.theconsciousplantkitchen.com/no-bake-samoa-bars/ it actually does kind of taste like the cookie!
https://www.nourishedbycaroline.ca/vegan-london-fog-tea-latte/ i use a bit of maple syrup to sweeten, oat milk for the milk. Even the normal version foams pretty well, but i'm getting some barista version to try today.
Recipes i plan to make soon:

I love vegan cooking :3 Omnis be like, "i'm a good cook" but then can't make any tasty food without relying on the fat or body parts/excrements from animals. Nothing sadder than going to a family event and eating chips and plain bean dip cuz omnis can't actually cook without relying on animals. At least when my omni relatives visit, they get actual prepared food that everyone can enjoy, like garlic roasted potatoes or spicy "chicken" (lentil/chickpea) patties. no shame to comrades who can't cook, just sideyeing the people who claim they can but then can't even make 1 good vegan meal.
Tonight I had a Greek salad (sans feta), potatoes roasted with lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and oregano, plus some rice. It was good but I really need a feta substitute
Yesterday I had some great tomato-coconut soup, with carrots, onion, garlic, ginger, bell pepper and rice.
Tonight I'm making Baingan Bharta and Palak Tofu with rice.
Hummus, kidney beans, mixed greens and nooch in a wrap. Fuck cooking and doing dishes.
