I think boomers as a demographic really oversold the idea of "midlife crisis" when their sense of horny invincibility got dented in the 80s and 90s. It was all over media at the time and left me expecting some weird bullshit when I hit the same age.

I'm in my 40s. I feel fine. Some old people problems, but I'm not doing weird shit like boomer media said I would.
