just finished it and man, [parody]ing the heads of the literal illuminati has never felt more satisfying. yes i know the series has a problem with its portrayal of violence but cmon, taking out a gigantic piece of shit like the stuyvesant asshole in the first mission cannot feel bad to me. anybody else play through it it yet?

I assume it's mostly just a glorified level pack (and honestly I'm cool with that), but are there any new mechanics or anything? Also do all the weapons have a giant pink number 3 on them?

theres a few new mechanics. Shortcuts that you can unlock that will be available in future playthroughs of the level (not just different starting locations). Theres also a camera gadget that lets you do some stuff that I personally dont give a fuck about. im sure theres some other stuff but i havent played much yet

The signature mark III look involves an actual new model for the item, so they did step that up a notch.

awww i kinda liked the big pink #2 on everything, seemed like a very intentional middle finger to whiny self-serious g*mers

          The last level

          spoiler

takes place on a moving train and therefore is literally linear, which was everyone's (me included) main complaint about Absolution. That's poetic.
