that's the war they choose to protest

Since its founding in 2002, Medea Benjamin and CODEPINK has protested against US intervention in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Venezuela, Iran, Gaza, Columbia, and Honduras. Amongst anyone, she has the most receipts.

the amount of liberals who can't see how the US helped any of this happen is startling yet unsurprising. It really is blue MAGA. If Trump supported the Ukraine war like Biden, suddenly liberals would be anti war.

They are more mad that Trump didn't blow people up in Syria. Than they are with Biden doing nothing after SC ended roe v wade

it'll be real funny if Trump starts a war over Taiwan if he wins in 2024 and then the sides reverse and in the megathreads we start taking analysis from liberal-oriented sources who only really oppose the war because it's the Republicans doing it, versus the conservative sources we used to have to rely on (as there's been virtually nobody liberal/left-leaning doing regular coverage and analysis) who are now dipshits fully in support of beating China

having lived through Bush with Iraq and Afghanistan and Obama with Libya(mostly, cause of BENGOZZI. I was going to add Yemen, Syria and others but i don't think either side gave a fuck about those), and how Republicans and Democrats took turns there, that is definitely what would happen.

Helps that it's not really widely reported on.

Like they'll report stuff without context.

Like how they're reporting the stuff happening in Africa. They'll just say that fighting is happening and dumb racist westerners will just be like "The stupid brown people are blowing each other up again."

      Of course it did

When your brain is fried by obsessively watching the 24 hour news networks, you don't remember five minutes ago, much less five years ago

Man who commits arson every day for the past 50 years claims he didn’t light this house on fire. Everyone believes him and is not interested in investigating.

I guess blowing up an oil pipeline and hosting a sanctioned hit list is not direct involvement

the USA is also heavily involved in Ukraine's ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) cycle, including supplying lots of satellite information

we didn't have a direct involvement in starting.

obviously what matters is who started it, grade school style. Why would anyone be concerned about the ongoing supply of the weapons doing half the killing? clearly what matters here is blame, not human lives. Fucking baby brains
