does the black book of communism count people dying a century before the prc existed in a rebellion against imperialism as victims of communism
I would rather use sandpaper to wipe my ass than the black book
I downloaded the black book just to check this. Here's the excerpt, lol: https://hexbear.net/pictrs/image/C5uITf12Gb.png
author's heart should have done a pulse rebellion, sparing us from this awful book
holy hell, imagine reading that and thinking doing a communism was the big mistake
It was in this context that the two, three, or four generations who preceded the communist revolutionaries grew up. It made them accustomed to a level of violence and social disintegration unprecedented in China's history.
Yellow man bad.
The funny thing is the Wikipedia article for the black book of communism says it's not a trustworthy source.
It's like how the article for Human rights in the Soviet Union heavily cites Richard Pipes, a man whose own Wikipedia article says was an anticommunist who worked for a CIA division especially created to push a more aggressive stance against the Soviet Union, and wrote shitty books on Russian history that other historians don't take seriously.
Also a ton of things cite documents on the Russian Civil War written by White Generals (ie, Denikin).
lol. Wikipedia is a joke. It's fine for some widely auditable facts like "when was Mozart born?", but I really worry that it's going to do long term damage to the general historical memory / historical record.
The black book of communism is just one page that says: THE TAIPING REBELLION - think about it, that was the commies fault
100 TRILLION DEAD ANIMAL FARM 1984 AUTHORITARIAN IPHONE VUVUZELA CHINA TOTALITARIAN ORWELLIAN DYSTOPIA
Some wikipedia editor is probably guarding the page like a hawk and ready to instantly revert any changes to their precious work. That's how it usually is with these sorts of pages.
