Also, what did that game actually turn into? I played one of the earliest released versions, but it wasn't really a game yet at that point.
17 hour later edit: I was curious and looked it up, and holy shit the drama I found. TL;DR: The dev turned out to be a creepy pedo and people surprisingly cared enough to make a shitstorm about it (good on em). Someone else decided to make a game with a similar goal, theoretically without being a creepy pedo, and that one is apparently called Love Letter. Both are apparently still in development. Welcome to weird anime game hell, I guess.
