I feel like people haven't fully digested the "counterfeit shares" theory. If the hedge funds issued counterfeit shares to short GameStop, they don't have to cover or pay interest because there is no one to whom they need to pay interest or return the stock. And the implications of that story getting out (that there are potentially tens of thousands or even millions of counterfeit shares in the market) would be really bad. So since they don't have to cover or pay interest, they are slowly going to bleed people off of the 🚀🚀🚀 through stories about new moves like SLV or saying "Oh the hedge funds covered all of their shorts", and just hope that the internet has destroyed people's attention to the point they bail out.
Should I feel happy to understand more theory related memes than whatever that bottom image means?
Line went down, but is bad?
