Two Medium posts made on August 4th:

  1. https://twitter.com/Socialist_queer/status/1290695252571914241

This doesn't mention the racism of the sexual harassment allegations which the woke DSA uncritically signal boosted. Apparently he created a "toxic work environment" yeah sure ok Karen! Radlibs who parrot rhetoric about "brown people are rapists who party with gangbangers" are totally not toxic

The sexual harassment narrative started when a white woman from Washington D.C. sent a racially coded tweet accusing Shahid of sexual harassment with no details. That is a serious allegation to make if you are not going to describe it. The tweet also followed up by saying that Shahid was friends with a gangbanger, a term often used to assert a power structure by white women making accusations against Black and Brown men. I was falsely accused of participating in gang activity and had to fight it for two years.

In response to the allegations, with no proof offered, I watched a bunch of white women in DSA SF rush to stand with her without even looking into the allegations. One woman even told me that in just questioning it that I would go down with a sinking ship.

the DSA has solidarity with Karens, i wonder why a labor aristocrat org would do that?

within a couple weeks of her post Jasper (Socialist_queer) landed an admin job working for a liberal city supervisor with links to the Pelosi machine

EDIT: here is a document submitted for Matt Haney with her name on it

      with links to

      What are those links, exactly?

Reminder: Russiagate was fueled by articles saying that various things have "links to" Putin or Russia or whatever bogeyman.

Yeah, I somehow doubt it's possible to work in politics in San Francisco, or California, without having "links to" the Pelosi machine. Kind of the difficult part of fighting the Democratic party from the left in NY state or California is that the machine sort of encompasses the entirety of the political structure.

Is Chapo.chat actually a government operation to indoctrinate American youth? Our investigation reveals that site admins and moderators have links to the US education system!

you're right "with links to" wasn't the best way to phrase it, valid reminder.

from what I've heard he is playing the dem party game

I’ve felt the same way. Dump a fraction of that money into smaller local campaigns you can win easily and it will have a way greater impact

Not only that, but his campaign staff would also show up to all local protests here just to campaign and turn the whole thing into being about them. Fuck Pelosi, but Shahid is SV grifter spook and always gave me bad vibes the few times I met him.

edit: also a lot of other women who were harrassed/assaulted by him didn't want to step forward due to legal threats from him (he is a lawyer). Im local and in the SF dsa chapter (no, im not white).

Which is what he did in 2016, when he ran a ridiculous astroturf campaign that convinced people to protest in front of Apple stores around the country in defense of Apple. That’s right: in defense of Apple, one of the richest and most powerful corporations in the world.

This is a really weird way of characterizing a protest where the issue at hand was whether or not the FBI should have a backdoor into iPhones.

I like Yasha, but he can be a serious crank at times for no reason other than for being a crank, and including that unsourced "quote from a friend" at the end is some bullshit he would criticize the media for doing with a Russia story. The truth of Buttar probably lies somewhere in the middle between being a corporate stooge and being a well-intentioned yet naive lib who thinks he's actually doing good by working for the EFF.

you don't always feel comfy providing proof for these things, or even getting specific

but "gang banger", i call bullshit, this fucker's innocent.
