I think there's a lot of astroturf. I scrolled down on one of the threads and saw a lot comments written like they're replies. Either reddit's broken, or a bot fucked up and posted threads to the top level, or people with strong feelings about Israel don't know how to reply to comments on reddit.

Comments by tibbles1, LeftLeftRightRight, jiaxingseng, notaredditer13 and probably many others are written like replies and quote comments that I can't find. Although there are a lot of deleted comments.
