There's plenty of weeb-adjacent gamers (not to mention their favorite Y**tuber P*wdiepie has played it). The most reactionary among them probably wouldn't be swayed by memes anyway, the more "apolitical" ones are easier to reason with through the only language they understand: memes and media.
