Seriously, the OP over there is genuinely deranged.

Like what the fuck is even going on here:

I hesitate to call them tankies because they don’t follow the same ideals. These people deride ‘the libs’ but engage in liberalism, calling themselves lgbtq friendly, then they call themselves communist but engage in materialism, they call themselves socialist but agree with authoritarianism.

I don’t know what to call them besides fascist, but fascist is so non-specific when dealing with these groups that it doesn’t help for identification. We actually need a new name for this group of fascists.

fascinating, linguists and philosophers would have a field day studying this person.

I didn't think it was possible to lose a language-game but this person has achieved it.

Liberals are famously LGBTQ friendly, and not the types of absolute clowns who make me want to yell "God, can you people please just stop circumlocuting and just call me a slur already? You're clearly about to have an aneurysm from not being permitted to call me [redacted] over my preferred pronouns."

And materialism famously has no place in communism, which is why Marx described dialectical vibesism in such depth in his magnum opus, Das Lemmypost; and socialism is fundamentally opposed to any and all authoritarian measures, because the ruling class famously just gives up its power when it's asked very very nicely.

I'm about to have a certified The Deprogram "thoroughly bleeped rant as the theme song fades in" moment istg

Of course if you bring this up to a liberal they'll insist it only happens because of the evil dastardly CCP who hate gays too much for Disney to do more, but also Disney is thoroughly owned by the CCP because they want money

              Or something

The great thing about the word "tankie" is that it can mean anything you want.

Your neighbour who mowes their lawn at seven every sunday morning? Tankie.

That squirrel that keeps raiding your birdfeeder? Tankie.

Your wife wants a divorce? She's literally Stalin.

54% of American adults read below a 6th grade level. The literacy statistics for redditors are sadly even more grim.

Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies.

They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past. sartre-pipe

I can't believe Lemmygrad is so weird, who answers their door while holding a book? Like, just put it down somewhere. I guess it's a solid excuse to tell the .world Nazi to get off your porch.

We were in the middle of a group reading for State & Revolution. We thought we'd invite the stranger at our door to come and join, but it seems we were better off without them.

I like the people that do the national socialism thing, it's great when peoplr explicitly tell you they're too dumb to be taken seriously.

o7 to the .ee poster (maybe not, now that I look closer their username is a bit sus). If grad was really calling for "race-based nuclear holocaust", shouldn't they be able to present evidence? That whole thread is filled with some absolutely wild takes.

Zero chance this is a genuine mistake, it's just too much of an awkward "this situation does not happen" situation

It is telling that they can't even point to the meme posadism and xi-plz stuff facetiously. It isn't even that hard to cherry pick stuff from here or Lemmygrad and bring it completely out of context to 'prove their point'.
