    China's South-South loans have been incredibly important for other global south countries. It's helped them avoid the World Bank/IMF structure (which is why the west hates it so much, because it's damaging to their hegemony).

    It's not like.... Completely alltruistic, in any sense. However, it's a much better deal than what would have been available to those countries.
