      It's a bit, but the real thing is almost as bad:

      "I’m glad you did,” Harris said in response. “And again this is about the fact that your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth should not be suppressed and it must be heard, right? And one of the things that we’re fighting for in a democracy, right, a democracy is its strongest when everybody participates…”

      She added soon after: “The point that you are making about policy that relates to Middle East policy, foreign policy, we still have healthy debates in our country about what is the right path, and nobody’s voice should be suppressed on that.”

        God this is such a good example of how insufferable mainstream political discussion is. "Israel is genociding people." Reponse: "Everybody has a voice about the right paths in life and no one's voice should be suppressed. Next Question."

          The voices defending and advocating for genocide should be suppressed actually.

          Free speech has proven to be an abject failure, and isn't even real in the first place if you do any speech that actually harms the interests of the empire. There's a reason we call the CIA award for excellence in journalism 2 bullets in the back of the head or a stay in a blacksite for the rest of your life.
