I wouldn't call it pretty left, it's ideologically confused, has no concept of revolution and undertones that can easily be read as sino- and transphobia. Which is unfortunate, because apart from that, it's one of the best shows that come out in recent years. The cinematography and editing are a treat, it has a good cast, the writing gets really good past S1, but it devolves into libshit a lot whenever politics are brought up.
