    The house itself looks pretty dope. And a waterfall and grotto? I'd totally be down to turn into either communal housing for ~15 people, or a dope ass public space, like a community park/retreat or something. Library, recreation center... the works!

        Houses like this are never built with livability in mind. They're meant as collector's items for the wealthy. There's a 15,000 sqft mansion in the mansion district of my city (right across a highway from the poorest part of the city and has its own police force) that's only occupied for 2 weeks/year by one billionaire oil executive. The rest of the time he charges rent to his personal trainer who lives in a one bedroom above the 10 car garage with his son.
