Something I made for fun this afternoon. I'm not the most musically knowledgeable person around, but I hope at least one fellow music nerd might find some fun stuff to listen to from me. I also tried to put some emphasis on international music, since that's something the vast majority of basically everyone outside of the country it's from lacks knowledge of

Let me add one of my favorites for 1981: Jean-Michel Jarre - Concerts in China

In 1981 (when Les Chants Magnétiques was released), the British Embassy gave Radio Beijing copies of Jarre albums, which became the first pieces of foreign music to be played on Chinese national radio in decades. The Republic invited Jarre to become the first western musician to play in post-Mao Zedong China.

Ah, a Live Album. Will listen.

I've only heard Oxygène of his (it's good), but prog electronic is something I enjoy quite a bit.

I tend to not like lives very much, but this is truely a concept album in which he created a whole musical story with samples from his travels. Also I added an interesting tidbit about it.

Love to see Gaucho, I can't count the number of times I've listened to it on my hands.

I need to listen to that Turn Back the Clock album, I'm a big fan of that style of music, Prefab Sprout, Beautiful South. If you like sophistipop and are looking for more non English music then I can't recommend Piano Bar from Charly Garcia enough.

81 was probably one of my favorite years in music. Has some strange post punk gems like Odyshape by The Raincoats and Deceit by This Heat.

O łał. To leci na pulpit, zdecydowanie wszystkiego posłucham

Oslo; kampjuterwelt, szacun uwielbiam ten album. Talking heads, zajebista muzyka.

Thanks, I'm listening to Čuvaj se! right now.

Btw this the best-sounding release of Oktubre there is: An early CD pressed in Venezuela straight from the tape: https://www.mediafire.com/file/p2gdkx8wifjnbvq
