A lot of the bands I like sell cassettes as the only physical way of owning their material. Is it really cheaper than just making a CD? Or is this just another version of 80's nostalgia?

That song is basically my experience of visiting a gas station high af at midnight with my high friends to buy some shit to eat after "the munchies" kicked in.
8.5/10 IGN not enough weird staring at everything
Can't wait in 4 years or so when it'll be topical again for me to complain about Pitchfork's 0.6/10 for The Boy With the Arab Strap.
Akshually it was 0.8/10 and they re reviewed the album in 2018 and gave it an 8.5/10.
But yeah late 90s/early 2000s pitchfork reviews were weird and have not aged well at all.
At least they didn't fall into the trap of giving ITAOTS a 6/10 like everyone else at the time.
"Oh I like my vocalists to have pleasant voices"
One of the original "lo-fi" albums. And the fact that lo-fi is back in the mainstream is just more proof that we're in full 90s nostalgia mode right now.
Whenever I see the words lo-fi, I immediately hear "HELLO THERE PAUL" in my head.
After such knowledge, what forgiveness?
