If you're interested in learning more about the BPP, I would recommend reading From The Bullet to the Ballot by Dr. Jakobi Williams. He is a civil rights activist and one of the leading BPP historians. Most of my information in this comment is sourced from a class I took with him about the history and development of the Black Panther Party. I also know we heavily referenced Black Against Empire in that class as well.
Btw anyone know any good books on the Black Panthers? I really wanna learn more, I feel we could learn a lot from them.
