You'll be good brother. Keep looking for the next opportunity, talk to everyone you know telling them your looking. Know what you're worth. I believe in you. I've been in the pit for months and finally options are opening up. One day at a time, brother!

This has been my last 4 years pretty much, I’ve only recently gotten close to climbing out of my debt now that I have a stable albeit low paying job. I hope you can make your way out of it.

I feel you, man. From one unemployable to another!

I can't even get interviews because every employer these days is a picky, unpleasable snob that wants PhDs and 10+ years of experience for entry level jobs. And here I am looking to get a CS degree just so I can afford to live on my own. I don't like coding and I'm bad at it, but it's the only field where porky is willing to pay.

That, and I have some friends that got coding jobs on some tech firms, don't forget that nepotism is mandatory now because no employer wants you unless you have a bunch of friends to basically apply for you on your behalf. So if there's one piece of advice, find out what friends and family do for work and have them tell their boss "do me a favor and hire them."

Porky wants to turn even getting a job into like getting into a country club. And most importantly, picky employers are not your fault. Porky just needs to get over himself and ACTUALLY create jobs.
