I've been extremely at my own district regarding anything tied to my work, especially on my way out, so I don't get anything damning on my record because obedience and allegiance is everything in Burgerland.
You are both teachers. Should you be teaching your students to not be bog standard liberals? Or are you forced to be bog standard liberals? If you are, why do you not quit your jobs?
Trying not to get fired for being a commie is quite a bit different from being a bog-standard lib. And not everyone has the luxury of being able to quit their job. Hope that helps.
