South Dakota AG Jason Ravnsborg was reading Joe Biden conspiracy theories at John Solomon's Just The News website while driving when he slammed into a man, killing him and hitting him so hard the man's face came through the windshield. (Ravnsborg claimed he thought he hit a deer)

Ravnsborg's interviews are really interesting and example of why not to talk to the police. The two investigators absolutely roll him, trapping him in lie after lie about the accident. Part 2 is where Ravnsborg is really reduced into a sniveling mess:

Ravnsborg was given a loaner car by a local sheriff after the accident. He confirmed to investigators he was texting people on his drive home in the loaner to tell them he had been in an accident. He has absolutely no regard for anyone else's safety.

One thing I keep thinking about is how Jason Ravnsborg argued in both of his interviews with investigators that the lack of blood on his car somehow supported his claim that he thought he hit a deer and not a person.

Ravnsborg's issue is that he is adamant about two claims that don't really mesh well with each other: 1. He had no idea he was about to have a collision with anything until the moment of impact. 2. He concluded that he hit a deer rather than a person.

There is an explanation for the lack of blood that actually makes sense: Ravnsborg hit the man so hard that he was instantly killed. His heart stopped beating and absent major puncture wounds for blood to pour out of, it remained inside the man's body.

Ravnsborg called 911 around a minute after he accessed the Joe Biden conspiracy theory article on his phone.
