Hamas is not a revolutionary vanguard. We should of course offer critical support for them: they're anticommunists and Islamists (complete with opposition to women's rights), but their struggle for liberation is totally just. We should be rooting for the PLO and especially the PFLP to take power once the Israeli boot is off their necks.

The situation is reminiscent of the Japanese invasion of China: we (critically) supported the KMT against Japan, and then supported the CPC against the KMT once that battle was won.

The PLO shot a 10 year old Palestinian girl a few days ago, they and Mahmoud Abbas can fuck off, they've become a puppet of the Zionist occupation. The PFLP is chill as hell but isn't popular sadly

Hamas was quite literally created by Israel* in the late '70s to draw Palestinian support away from the PLO. A single, secular state is the only option for peace in the region, and the PFLP will do that. Hamas will not. We are not Islamists here.

Edit: *This is perhaps an overstatement, but I firmly believe that Hamas could not have achieved the success it did against its secular opponents without Israel's monetary and political support.

The PLO will sit around, steal donation money and put their hands in their balls, they can't do a single secular state, Mahmoud Abbas is a hogrider to the colonizer and a threat to the Palestinian cause more than they are a threat to the occupation, motherfucker literally said a few weeks ago that he sees Isr*el as a neighboring country and an alley, the PA a few days ago shot protestors that were protesting the occupation, Mahmoud Abbas has spent 13 million on a mansion close to Ramallah, the PFLP I can understand, but they aren't popular enough and they are not the ones who humiliated the "invincible army" in October 7th. It is either Al Qassam or Abu Ali, Abbousti Basbousti yakl zag yaani

The PLO is a coalition of several parties, not all of which have given up on the one-state solution. The PFLP, for example, maintains its stance.

I think (or perhaps just hope) that after Israel's targeted assassinations of the PLO end, they'll be able to regain some of the support that was artificially decreased by Israel.

I don't support Fatah, and I acknowledge that Fatah is the largest portion of the PLO, but the PFLP is second largest and they have the only correct opinion on the process towards peace.

I'm not sure what you want. We have Israel admitting to it on tape.

Are you aware that the Muslim Brotherhood, which later became Hamas, supported the Black September massacre of Palestinians in opposition to the Jordanian monarchy? That they attacked opposition politicians, most of whom were leftists? Are you aware they campaigned on a platform of anti-communism and the restriction of women's rights?

Again, I'm all for Hamas in their struggle against Israel, but I'm confused at your uncritical support. They're not our friends. We are not Islamists, and obviously we are not anticommunists.

It's an imperialist stance to support Hamas against Israel? Do you understand what critical support means?

I am a leftist. Hamas is not leftist. I cannot unconditionally support them based on that by definition. Hamas opposes women's rights, for example—do you? If you do not, then your support is critical.
