On one hand, whatever guns he does make would be Zip .22-tier disasters. On the other hand, it would lose terminally online right-wing gun nuts (and potentially a military contractor or two if he leverages his SpaceX contracts) a lot of money.
And then probably gets flagged by the ATF because it's over .50 cal and he cheaped out and didn't get the necessary license to manufacture destructive devices.
but then he just gets away with it for no reason like he always does.
The ATF did give a sporting exemption to this sonofabitch, so what do I know.

Why do I immediately know that whoever made that monstrosity went "Hey, why can't you make a modern musket?"
- The designer's name is J.D. Jones, he works for SSK Industries and is mostly known for making wildcat cartridges.
- You can absolutely make a musket in the modern day. If it's a muzzle loader, it isn't even considered legally a firearm in the U.S., much less subject to any kind of regulation.
Unless you made everything chrome-lined, the powder fouling would corrode those parts incredibly quickly.
i've got bigger problems if i need more than 15-20 shots.
i forget what it's called but there's some not-actually-black powder that doesn't foul nearly as much and can be used instead of actual gunpowder that sounded like it could run for a couple mags if you had a fat gas port.
