On one hand, whatever guns he does make would be Zip .22-tier disasters. On the other hand, it would lose terminally online right-wing gun nuts (and potentially a military contractor or two if he leverages his SpaceX contracts) a lot of money.

    1. The designer's name is J.D. Jones, he works for SSK Industries and is mostly known for making wildcat cartridges.
    2. You can absolutely make a musket in the modern day. If it's a muzzle loader, it isn't even considered legally a firearm in the U.S., much less subject to any kind of regulation.

        Unless you made everything chrome-lined, the powder fouling would corrode those parts incredibly quickly.

          i've got bigger problems if i need more than 15-20 shots.

          i forget what it's called but there's some not-actually-black powder that doesn't foul nearly as much and can be used instead of actual gunpowder that sounded like it could run for a couple mags if you had a fat gas port.
