Given there was a struggle session over a post of this text a couple days ago, I thought it was funny this episode just came out.

I think the texts greatest merits are in its attempt at a positive construction of a lower stage socialism/communism (if it doesn't perhaps satisfy how to stop producing for value but that's a very hard question), and an interesting articulation of the SPD and USSRs vision of centralized national corporations being criticized as two sides of the same coin derived via Hilferding, and a remarkable early prediction of some problems the USSR would have in the 1960s and 70s, and the episode also gives an interesting take of portraying the councilists as more orthodox to Marx than the orthodox Marxists (which I think has some truth in it).
