I just found out that I did not get a job that I had hoped for. What ways do you build yourself back up or at least self-soothe?

My wife is very upset with me right now because I told our family I already had the job before it was announced very publicly that someone else will be doing it instead.

      do you think my problem is that I am too ambitious then? I know I can help, I have helped many times before and I already have experience in government.

          someone else suggested belarus or lebannon, do you know very much about these countries? I am under house arrest right now after misunderstandings involving fishermen, but I am optimistic I will soon be given clemency. Perhaps I could go to one of these countries.
