My dad has always had a thing with “xmas” as a term he thinks it’s a conspiracy to take the the “Christ out of Christmas”
The funny thing about that is the X is from how Christ is written in Greek (Χριστός) and has been used to abbreviate Christ for almost a thousand years, and Xmas and variations of Xmas have been used for hundreds of years.
But then again protestants and specially American evangelicals will think that Christianity was invented in 1792 and that anything prior is catholic demonic propaganda.
Now I can't even say X-mas? Got damned cancel culture.
