Never played, but after Persona I want to play more SMT. Also Dante from the Devil May Cry series will be dlc.
Cheap bastards are charging extra for the DLC. Just bundled it all up in a single package.
Nice. One of my favourites.
It is brutal though, so be warned. The battles are tough, but Atlus pull no punches with the dungeons either, with teleporters, holes in the floor, damage / negative status floors, obtuse puzzles, etc. Random battles occur basically everywhere too (but there is an indicator that shows when they'll occur, and items to increase/decrease the frequency).
Tips for anyone who hasn't played before:
-
Keep your original Pixie (you can fuse it, including sacrificial fusions, and it'll remain in the top slot). Don't delete it or use it in the digging minigame and you'll be fine basically.
-
Buffs and debuffs are incredibly useful (especially Fog Breath), although enemies in the second half of the game start to dispel them with Dekaja/unda (also useful).
-
Full moons mean better treasure in chests (among other things).
-
Keep the Focus ability. Pierce is essential too.
-
Physical attacks are more powerful than offensive magic for the most part (but magic is good for hitting weaknesses of course).
