    I think some vegans could try to argue that tequila is not vegan. The agave plant that is used to make tequila is harvested before it can flower. This is an issue because the greater Mexican long-nosed bat depends on the nectar of the flowers sustain itself during part of its migratory flight pattern.

    I'm not a vegan but I do like sharing fun facts! (Now I want some tequila too but I have schoolwork to finish :blob-on-fire: )
