There was a whole big dust up among FNB chapters decade(s)? back over a chapter deciding to start serving non-vegan stuff and I guess other chapters have followed suit
Cooking rough for me. Combo of having to cook whatever we get for free from neighbors and food bank and also feeding 7 people two of them teenagers that are growing and also me. At least beans are cheap and pasta too.
I'm okay it sound worse than it is please don't worry about me. If you do have cash then idk food not bombs I hear is great. But seriously thank you for caring. Feel bad for making you feel bad. Please be happy. Look at this little blob :party-blob:
100% true, my first steps towards becoming vegetarian was when I started eating at a Hare Krishna vegan restaurant next to campus. It was ridiculously cheap and the food was amazing and 100% vegan. I still drink milk, eat cheese and sometimes eat a couple of eggs, but I'm on my way towards going full vegan.
I used to live in a town that had a vegan restaurant that was well known in the community for always offering a free/pay what you can hot meal from like 11am to 1am. Just really inspirational, my dream is to have a food truck that does that
I think the easiest way to make more vegans would just be feeding people. Free vegan breakfast program when?
Check out Food not Bombs!
They do vegan? I know next to nothing but will check out.
Yes, I know there are some locals that don't worry about eggs and dairy as much depending on the food that's available.
My local chapters are vegan only, I thought it was a thing across the entire org but apparently some chapters are super ""lenient"" 🙄🙄

Yeah cooking a hassle enough and having to find vegan substitutes make it tougher. If I can just order ever meal then it would be easy as hell.

Hell yeah that sounds cool as hell. Food trucks are pretty rad and so is feeding people.
