Every three days on this site I see a "penises are shrinking due to microplastics" post. Before you call the volcel police on me, there are myriad other health reasons to avoid microplastics. So what can a normal person without much money do to reduce avoid microplastics?

Wasn't the "shrinking penises" thing more of a genetic effect on newborns and shit? I don't think microplastics are actively shrinking adults' penises. But yeah, best you could do is try to eat/ drink stuff that isn't packaged in plastic. Even then, there's an accumulation of plastic in food simply from where it's grown or processed. Eating at a lower trophic level (plants, less or no meats) would give you less plastic overall because of less biomagnification*.

So essentially I can be the one-eyed king of the blind if I recycle all of my plastic into waterways?
