  • Yeah it's so bad. There is no level of community in this country that isn't terrible.

    Large cities are too noisy, have awful air quality, are too hot in the summer, and have all the problems you described.

    Midsized and small cities have most of the problems above but they also tend to have a lot less to do and worse job opportunities.

    Small towns have nothing to do and very shitty job prospects. Can be very hard to get quality groceries depending on how far the next city is. Usually infested with the worst type of chuds. Upsides are the air quality and noise, usually less absolute poverty (dying in the street, freezing to benches in polar vorteces) because people tend to be more supportive and willing to help each other out and housing is cheaper.

    True rural can be good depending on your lifestyle preferances but my main issue with it was the fact that you're effectively on your own and everything (work, school, grocery store, hospital, etc) is far away.
