  • Mosquitoes either don't like me or they don't leave a trace when they do. The same can be said for bed bugs as I remember my family once stayed at a cheap hotel and they all got bit but me. They just said they had sweet blood or something

Not boss souls but the regualr souls that you lose when you die. You can check how much you've collected by going to your character stats and looking at the top right.

To get to the end game you can beat the four main bosses to proceed or get 1 million souls in total.

You don't actually have to beat the four old ones to get to the end. If you get a certain amount of souls you can just go to the end game. That being said if you want to see if it counted go back to Majula and go to the abandoned house. If a fire is lit up where the lost sinner is on the map that means it counted.

That being said a better target to farm is the boss from the dark gulch.

So first figure out if you can. If you can't but still want to make videos you're gonna need a capable PC. After that you can emulate your game but if you want to use a console you can use the share feature of the ps4 pro/ps5 and transfer your 1080p footage with a usb. Not sure if Xbox has this. If not you're gonna need a Capture device to get that footage. You can go with a big brand like Elgato but I bought a non brand one from Amazon for around $50. That being said it is a risk wether yours works and if it's built to last so if you want to go with the big brands go for it, just know they go for way more then 50. Also for old consoles you'll probably need and HDMI converter for it so that you can use it. Next is a mic which is optional, you can use anything but good mics go for quite a bit. USB mics are cheaper, easy to use, and still are well made. Just check for your fav one. You might find a good mic and capture device at garage sells or second hand shops. Luckly the rest is free. For video editing you can use Shotcut. For audio recording you can use Audacity. And for PC screen recording you can use OBS. That being said I'm sure someone has better advice then mine so search around.

TLDR: Emulator + OBS. No Emulator= console Share feature +USB. No share feature/1080p= Capture Device. Choose $50 or $250 capture device. HDMI convertor might be necessary. Mic optional. USB mic= good. Shotcut for a free video editor. Audacity for a free audio recording. OBS for a free screen Capture.
