Like said in the title if you had money or friends with money would you support/recomend. No need to pull punches I want honest answers. I need to know so that I don't go wasting money on a page scanner on a failing idea. If you guys want I have a second page that I can show just that my intenet is crap and no text has been done for it.

commissions are where the money is at. being a popular comic artist can get you money but you kinda already have to be there

think stuff like making art for furries or dnd or something. nerd stuff. theyll pay a ton for it. shit, i know a trans lady that makes 40k (literally not even a joke) a year painting warhammer figurines for nerds

do a typical art style like line art and post a bunch of pics of it and people will throw cash at you

It's hard to tell from just the one. I don't think you could quit your day job as is, probably people commissioning art would want linework and color and such. And if your intention was to just sell original pieces, that would from what I know be even harder. However I think its really a matter of refinement, you are not far off but maybe need more work on a few fundamentals, and you could really have something especially in this format, these sort of comic panels. Even then though idk if I've ever met an illustrator who made real money

The art is fine; it's on par with successful comics on Webtoon. Characters and writing are a big part of what differentiates comics there (though a lot is just luck).
