If I really enjoy a game I'll 100% it. In most games I like though the achievements are well designed and will result in me doing something I might not have thought of and seeing something cool I might not have otherwise.

Sci hub is far more user friendly and quicker than any University library. I use it rather than log in through three different websites to find out the paper isn't as related as I thought it was. I have yet to meet anyone who thinks it is hurting science.

I feel like he was instrumental in wrecking the new atheism movement. His "scientific analysis" of feminism article that got him banned from that blog felt like the spark that lot the underlying powder keg of misogyny in the movement.
My real lib take is that they are now the guy from the end of the 15 million merits episode of black mirror living a easy life of luxury while doing a broadcast decrying the system they are perfectly comfortable in. If there was revolutionary change it would hurt them more than help them.
