I think you can manage. It will likely involve: moving and unplugging the dryer, removing some screws (probably with a 1/4" nut driver), undoing some snap fits (You'll need a thin, firm tool like a paint scraper or ruler), and plugging the new dial in. Nothing too complicated, and the whole process should take around 20 minutes.

If all of that sounds doable to you, I'd suggest starting by searching youtube for "[brand name] dryer control panel" to get a better idea of how to pop that off.

  • There have been a few laptops that claimed the CPU would be upgradable, and as far as I know, none delivered. But consider what that would be like even if it goes as planned. A few years from now you spend like 80% of the cost of a new laptop to get a marginally faster CPU and just chuck a perfectly good motherboard and CPU in the trash. When is that going to make sense? It's not like you'll have the option to put a GPU in this thing in the future.
As far as the modules go, they're just USB-C hubs that slot into the case. All they offer now is rearrangable ports, and realistically, what else could they offer?

  • If that guy is who people say he is, he's done a lot worse to poison the well (patriotic socialism, US imperialism as a tail-wagging-the-dog plot, bizarre sexual pathology towards Luna), but hand-wringing about Putin helps no one. The imperialist argument is "Putin's policies are indefensible, and that's why the US needs to intervene." You are only building the case for them , and worse, tying anyone hurt by Putin's policies to the imperialist cause. Instead, leftists should be clear that Putin's problems are for Russians alone to worry about.
