Issue is Biden's reliance on being mr. anti-trump vote means fragmenting within the party is likely post-win more than unity and I think the factional shitfest that breaks out within months of inauguration is just not being thought about right now because election. Obama had more a unifying presence on paper or at least knew how to lead people on while Biden's absence of support for anything being obvious for like 40% of the party if not more becomes a total liability due to just not being there.

  • Maybe relying on everyone's lives being shit isn't the best approach? I think we can still rally up a good 2022, as my electoralism is undying and the infrastructure for resistance against the oligarchs has built up a lot over the part several years since OWS-type shit. Old libs spent 4 years just going orange man bad and given another 4 years would have just done that more, younger voters meanwhile aren't going to suddenly be "oh it's biden so good time to sleep" outside the lil' PMCs. I think Obama's failure to get major reforms beyond the gingrichcare w/ liberal characteristics through has created more skepticism within the base and I just don't see Biden able to handle dealing with younger voters of even the Warren type. Even those types he barely can stand.

Biden's going to win because boomers like misery and he is human misery, in ways Trump just isn't. They hate aspiration, dreams, principle, hope and those who fight for anything, that's why they like Biden and despised Bernie. They know their time is running out either way, which is why they desperately simp to never trumpers hoping to get more boomers to blockade their own base from having anyone that isn't a GOP hugger in power.
