That's fair. You can also emulate and play the game on PC if that's literally the only switch exclusive you want to play.

The switch is a nifty little device though. I've always had a soft spot for handhelds and having what is essentially a complete console that I can bring with me is pretty cool

don't let random contrarians on the internet dictate what your experience is gonna be. The game became massive for a good reason. It's not perfect by any means, but I put in nearly 200 hours into it and generally had a great time.

Imo, as much as this kind of dogmatism has always existed, it's gotten even worse in recent times as "leftism" in the west has gotten continuously co-opted by PMC types as a form of moral posturing rather than any sort of actual action.

It's more than a siege mentality imo. This site, by nature of its small size, has developed a culture of power posters who can throw their "clout" around to get what they want. It's all who you know and who knows you. A power poster and mod gets upset and something you posted? Perma-banned and publicly mocked without any hope of appeal. I remember in the early days of the site when people warned against this very thing, but I guess it's too late now.

It did. If anything, the emo we know today started as a sort of variation on the goth subculture, only to somewhat move away from it and develop it's own unique characteristics. Scene is more or less a branch off of emo, but there's a lot of overlap and there are no real set boundaries between what is scene and what is emo
