I got suspended from Reddit like 5 days ago for reasons I still don't fully understand. At first I was livid because I'm pretty sure it was probably some Nazis false reporting me or something and I appealed my ban three times, but honestly it's insane how much less stressful my life has been now that I don't feel the need to comment and post on every single thing that happens to interest me. I use other platforms but I just lurk so there's no real problem.
I still use Reddit to read comments on a couple leftist subs and hobby subs but I don't participate and I didn't realize how much better the site was doing that (shame I can't upvote/downvote though). Overall, if you still use Reddit and find yourself getting sucked in the rabbit hole, I highly recommend mass reporting yourself or something else in order to free yourself. Don't delete your account - or do, I guess - you'll just create a new one. If you create a new account after getting suspended I'm pretty sure it gets auto suspended.

That was fake. She was just trying to get attention. I think she sat in on the trial but she wasn't one of the jurors. You can tell because A) the jurors and their demographics were outlined by the news and the youngest white woman was like 50 while she's in her early 20s and B) she Tweeted throughout the trial (largely about non-trial things) when in reality things like phones are confiscated for jurors to prevent outside information from affecting their decision. Also I don't think you're allowed to disclose that you were a juror publicly like that, not that that stops people necessarily but it makes it much more unlikely
