u right I edited it
I'm heavy ASD I've got the R word pass
The main posts "thoughts and prayers" example is petty cringe online discourse from dorks that has zero material influence on the world. The commenter above is showing what 90% of religious people believe and its objectively insane unless you're extending the most innocent interpretations to deluded adults beliefs/motivations who would probably have you skinned alive if they knew you were a socialist.
Fr. Modern day christianity and religious institutions in the US are essentially the most efficient distribution network of reactionary ideology (outside of facebook) but because some goobers were annoying on reddit in 2012 it somehow made atheists/agnostics the weird ones and not grown adults believing in glorified Harry Potter.
Religious belief and church attendance is dying regardless of petty internet fights and its an objectively good thing unless your politics are stuck in the 60's where churches are community spaces w/ revolutionary baptist preachers and not just hotbeds for ski-doo owning chuds trying to feel better about themselves for cheating on their wives with the manager at their car dealership. Tax the $50 billion churches pull in annually and retrofit 90% of the 300,000 churches into homeless shelters, hospitals, and community centers for people.
The people who are sympathetic to leftist causes and ripe for radicalization are the people who are leaving the church in droves - not the opposite.
Pardon my fedora.
He was an outspoken supporter of Boric. But also on this site that makes him Hillary Clinton
Desalination isn't inherently horrible for the environment and can be developed environmentally responsible - especially under a socialist or cooperative management. That would also be a Plan Z as waste water / brackish water would come before that. And as I noted, before any of those water usage would come first as 80% of our water in CA is used for agricultural purposes for the rest of the country i.e. (Colorado river growing 30% of all agriculture in the US, majority from CA).
Also, this is all just shit talking about balkanization but saying that "that place goes under the minute balkanization happens, because it’s dependent on water being diverted to it from the colorado river" - is false. Because not only is it not dependent on the Colorado river - the only reason CA has any water issues in the first place is precisely because we produce 70% of the countries fruits, nuts, and vegetables and other produce. If we Balkanize - California isn't producing that for everyone and our water savings would be even easier to attain.
So, cut off the Colorado river all you want post-Balkanization, but say goodbye to tomatoes and garlic.
Only 15% of CA's water comes from the Colorado river and that can easily be made up for by (a) desalination plants across the coast, or (b) just not having (currently) 80% of our water use on agriculture just to ship almond milk across the country to fitness goober PMCs. Colorado can shut off access to the river and then they (along with the rest of the country) can say goodbye to vegetables in the winter and live off hot dish.

obscene housing prices, needing to drive an hour to get anywhere, traffic, where the most self-absorbed people on the planet go to, the insane wealth disparity
Depending on your definition of "most self-absorbed people" - all of this can be said about the New England region. At least in California you're not surrounded by Ivy League ghouls w/ a demographic made up of 95% white dorks.
Not that its any indication of potential communism, etc but if you removed San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego County, and LA County - Biden still would've beaten Trump in California. The "California is liberal cities but Trumpland in rural areas" is not a real thing. Not only that, if California didn't vote for Bernie in the primaries dude would've done Amy Klobuchar numbers.
Again, I know that it doesn't make CA any less susceptible to fascism - but If Im betting on a state to not immediately be fascist upon balkanization and with a massive population sympathetic to leftist causes - I'm fucking moving to California. Portland would be taken over by chuds in like 45 minutes.
Mid-west Great Lake surrounding states like Minnesota (where I was born), Michigan, and Wisconsin are actually like Trumper hell holes outside the immediate regions of the main cities. No joke, like 20 minutes outside of Minneapolis is chudville. If like 300,000 chuds didn't die from COVID Trump probably would've taken that entire region in the elections to an irreversible degree. And lastly, the surrounding agricultural land in Minnesota is 10000% controlled by Nazis lol
Lol Life of Pablo is his last classic. Leftists love to express their shit taste in media
Okay well thats different. Your comment sounded like there are Japanese people saying like "damn, I'm getting tired of our incredibly rich cuisine whose history goes back a millennia - wish I had some fuckin mushy peas"
This explains your palette
Everything is covered in sickly sweet mayo.
You just outed yourself as an unwashed unlearned honkey
This never happened lol. Lived in Japan for 5 years. "British food" literally isn't a recognized cuisine. You don't go to "British" restaurants. What does that even mean? Beans and toast? Crumpets? Yorkshire pudding?
Stop leveraging your neurodivergent privilege to dictate your roommates hygiene - it's giving hygienenoir
NATO would never launch a preemptive nuclear weapon on Russia unless it was provoked to some degree. Also this thought that "nukes would be sent to the US before they could join in" is goofy.
The vast majority of Russias nuclear stockpile sits in storage and the 2,000 or so "active" nukes are primarily dependent on antiquated cold-war era ICBMs. Both France and the UK's nuclear arsenals are equipped on highly modernized deployment systems that would be able to glass Russia before the US even gets involved with our own nukes. But also this isn't how the world works and there isn't a time when NATO, the UK, or France "gets involved" before/without the US.
NATO, the UK, France, and US's delivery systems are unparalleled. The US holds 71 of 134 total nuclear powered submarines in the world. Out of these 71, 18 are Ohio-class. These are capable of holding 24 Trident SLBM missiles that each hold up to 8 MIRV (multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicle) nuclear warheads. Each of these MIRV warheads hold a firepower of 100 kilotons of TNT (10x larger than Hiroshima). That means each of these subs could hold 24 missiles that can each separate into 8 nuclear warheads, totaling 192 warheads, each with a range of 4,600 miles. That means a sub off of NYC could hit Anchorage. The US essentially have 18 mobile nuclear launch bases that can move underwater.
The location of said nuclear submarines are classified and could be on the coast of Russia for all we know - especially in a time of heightened conflict. The US could deploy 80 warheads into Russia from the sea within 15 minutes while Russia fumbles a floppy disk to get a 50 year old ICBM off to Europe.
Russia has a dying economy with a smaller GDP than Texas and doesn't have the resources to modernize their nuclear weapons - its all posture. They know this. They would be deleted before they could get even 5% of their nukes off.
No joke I low key bought into the conspiracy based on some other pics of Justin/Castro but I've never seen OP's pic of Pierre. Unfortunately Justin's smug face 100% comes from that dude.
Hate to be that guy and I'm not endorsing the following but rather putting on my lib political analysis hat, BUT giving cops money is unfortunately politically popular, COVID is politically unpopular, inflation has fallen for the 6th straight month, and abortion rights have been an unprecedented boon to the democrats election strategy. 2022 midterms and local/gubernatorial elections since have been a low key direct repudiation of Trump politics and sadly its all working out to keep the liberal machine alive on its death bed for probably another election cycle or two.
