  • If only Indians knew about the Himalayas.. /s

It's not as straightforward as you make it seem. Just take a look how the Indian government has reacted to events perceived as aggressions: China has been building military infrastructure in disputed territory, there was a conflict in Galwan and yet the Indian government responded by just banning some Chinese apps. On the other hand, the Indian government launched surgical strikes in Pakistan occupied Kashmir a couple of years ago in response to Pakistani terrorists attacking an Indian military base.

  • Finland and Estonia urge EU to stop issuing tourist visas to Russians (https://www.ft.com/content/33173b4e-aa75-46b6-ae6b-83c2591c1c10)

“Stop issuing tourist visas to Russians,” Kaja Kallas, Estonia’s prime minister, wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. “Visiting Europe is a privilege, not a human right. Air travel from Russia is shut down. It means while Schengen countries issue visas, neighbours to Russia carry the burden (Finland, Estonia, Latvia — sole access points).”

Sanna Marin, Finland’s prime minister, told state broadcaster Yle: “It’s not right that at the same time as Russia is waging an aggressive, brutal war of aggression in Europe, Russians can live a normal life, travel in Europe, be tourists. It’s not right.”

What a joke, lol. I wonder if they feel the same about America or Israel (or any other country in the imperial core).

  • did we really need IT support?

Yes? Idk how it works in your organisation, but where I work IT support is responsible for responding to tickets caused by user error, known issues and they try to provide workarounds for simple issues. Any tickets which require code changes are handled by the software engineer who is oncall. Would be wasteful if I also had to respond to tickets which do not require in-depth knowledge of the codebase.

I've personally encountered more issues with Ubuntu than with Windows, so I don't see what this has to do with Microsoft tbh. Mac is great but they have control over the hardware and don't offer backwards compatibility like Windows does. :shrug-outta-hecks:
