  • Thank you for your detailed response, I appreciate the time and knowledge! Is there any particular text you can recommend, especially around the native and black movements? I think it would help to view things from a wholly different perspective.

I do agree though about it being an "event" or a consequence rather than an explicit goal. Having partly lived through the balkanization of Jugoslavia, it's a topic that's a personal interest. If anyone's got good recs on that I would also be very interested!

  • You idiot, they clearly have superior western technology. It's a tiny little car which you would think would struggle to hold even a child, but then to everyone's surprise grown men keep coming out and coming out. You do sacrifice a bit on camouflage due to the colourful makeup and wigs and troop mobility is limited by the very very long shoes.

I mean they're the ultimate normie phones because they're so fixed and easy to pick up. So I think you either go all in on the ecosystem or you get a different phone. Apple can suck my ass no doubt but none of this is a secret lol.

  • Some Fromsoft fans sound like fucking cult members I swear to god. Like somehow adjusting the difficulty of the game takes away from the purity of the experience or some shit or take away from the satisfaction of progression. Ohh no it'll break the delicate balance oh god.

Buddy, I just wanna vibe with the atmosphere and the scenery sometimes instead of studying the blade or whatever the fuck. It's a video game, relax.

  • That sounds super frustrating, do you have any idea why that might be? I know certain conditions like Raynauds or some medication can fuck with temperature perception.

Oh no worries, my partner described it to me that way as she gets pretty much the same symptoms in the heat that she gets in large crowds or noisy environments. Then we looked it up and other people (especially those with ASD) described it the same way!

  • It is interesting to see high heat and associated sweating as quite a powerful stimulus which often causes overstimulation particularly in people with neuro divergence. So sometimes it's not even a heat tolerance problem but an overstimulation problem which NTs seem to have a hard time understanding.

Also like others have said, perception of temperature changed is largely dependent on where your current baseline is.
