Is this watchable without having watched any of the other Gundams?
Dare I say UNcritical support for the injury, that injury is my comrade.
Yep, I'm sure that's the case for a lot of Jewish people (it is for others I have known). This guy is just really conservative.
I think you have a pretty big typo at the end of your first paragraph.
But I agree with you, I hate that sub, and I don't understand how people can stomach watching that as entertainment/a passtime. To me just watching videos of people being killed (no matter who they are) inevitably leads to dehumanization. Like, I'm glad Nazis were killed during WW2 but I don't spend my day searching for pictures or videos of dead nazis.
I have a coworker who's Jewish and has absolutely terrible political takes, he seems down this week, but I haven't tried asking why because I am not sure how I will react to his shit. I don't think anyone has mentioned what's going on because everyone at work (tech company) lives in their own little world.
I hope someone gets him, claims they did it for Ukraine and simultaneously breaks lib and chud brains.
Walker didn't really do it for me. There's a couple of scenes where there's a lot of homoerotic tension and the joke is just that.. Walker is gay.
I shouldn't be surprised by how transparently evil these people are, yet here I am.
(I can't seem to open the .mil link, not sure if it's just because I'm not in the US?)
Mostly what others have said, it's just a collection of stock footage that shouldn't be too hard to throw together. The URL it's not actually on a .mil domain, it just redirects to one, which is another point that makes me think they are unaffiliated (as in, not officially).
This just looks like something produced by some guy larping as military recruitment, https://twitter.com/GoArmySOF
Equating Nazi symbolism with Soviet ones just feels like such a weird thing to do, there's a reason Nazi symbols are banned in several (if not a majority) of European countries, but is not the case at all when it comes to soviet symbols. I think it's specially disappointing because the image that was originally shared was a reference to the "spectre" line in the communist manifesto. The hammer and sickle symbol has a long history that supersedes the history of the Soviet Union as a state, even my "third-world country" in Latin America (I'm sure you can see in the logs where I'm posting from) has a history of using the symbol for liberatory causes.
That sucks, I was hoping it was some random mod from a random comm, but the only mod for meta is the lemm.ee admin. Looks like he lives in a country that had a complicated history with the Soviet Union.
Could you expand a bit on how they don't offer additional privacy?
