Well, to that I point to the EZLN, going strong for over 3 decades, maybe even expanding and unlike China, didn't regress into capitalism.
The key word here that anarchists have a beef with in regards to a Transitory State, is "State". While you may think of the transition state as either a condition of being or a government anarchists object to the later. A transition period is fine by us but to anarchists this period is marked with prefiguration to our ideal communist society; because as the anarchist idiom goes, "The means by which we achieve our ends, will invariably determine what they will actually look like". This emphasis on prefiguration is important here to avoid the revolution's regression to capitalism as seen in the Soviet Union and China
I'm not well informed enough on defence but looking at Rojava and especially the EZLN shows that you don't need a hierarchical chain of command to defend the revolution.
IDGAF about Thanksgiving; i'm not even in the US right now, so instead I'm celebrating my birthday today! :ferret: :cat-vibing: :cat-trans:
Are you sure there isn't one already? or are there that few Lemmy instances?
Yeah, like how are you supposed to find the context the reply was coming from; unless you attempt to find it manually?
Hi Dyno. I imagine you have no relation to the discord bot of the same name, right?
That’s weird, I’m seeing totally different numbers here

Hexbear is definitely a part of it; now we just need to build it up.
Hey, I get that it's a meme to recommend The Conquest of Bread, but I'd recommend instead of that, either Kropotkins's Mutual Aid, for a better work of his; either one of Malatesta's "An Anarchist Programme" or "Anarchy" as introductory texts to Anarchism. The Bread book lacks some context to it's arguments that are embedded in his other works.
Who's a good doggo???
There's a surprisingly large influx of trots in Brazil's "left" parties and they haven't done much of a dent, if at all.
most of what I've learned of Trotsky was from my school history class, which when mentioning that he was closer to Lenin than Stalin, and that Lenin wrote a letter warning of Stalin's influence; that framing placed Trotsky in a better light. But what's weird was that my school was a private British international school, which had ideological reasons to smear the communists, but didn't do the Red Scare bit. But since I've grown-up, therefore becoming an anarchist 😎 I agree that Trotsky was very ideologically similar to Stalin; to his detriment.
TV Show
Wait, there's a show called TV Show or were you talking about any TV Show?
Ok, but what is the Lemmy/ChapoChat equivalent to "Keanu chungus wholesome 100 reddit moment"?
But what, would they go to satirize? many have pointed out that reality has outpaced satirists.
Where were the NPCs that loosely resemble these guys in Super Mario Odyssey?
