these urchins dont have spikes they're just sticky appendages like the bottom of a starfish. they move as fast as a snail
Sea urchins, and all echinoderms, do not have brains. They do not "feel" anything. The hats exist purely for our own amusement.
And that's okay.
You made me google sea urchins wearing hats. As i'm thankful for that, here's a Newsweek article about the topic that includes large versions of the top hat and the cowboy hat and a new one. I've also found a pic with yet another hat in a forum that's mentioned in the article.
