I had a similar issue on my full size bike and it turned out the cable had corroded. It took a bit to figure out because after the shop tuned it it would work fine for 100-200 km or one tough climb but then start skipping again.

Which pixel is getting you that battery life? My 6 has been struggling to make it through a day on GrapheneOS recently.
If only google would stop blocking display out on pixels.
I've had that happen, the logging statements stopped a race condition. After I removed them it came back...
Bancon and bread are both 2?
Will there be any battery improvements? My Pixel 6 could use some (I miss the battery life of my 5a, RIP).
Great. I tried switching to Etar Calendar but didn't like it.
Is your feeling based on the fact that you can only get driving directions offline (not even walking!)?
I joined !privacy@lemmy.ml and now I use GrapheneOS (instead of Android), Fedora (instead of Windows), Firefox (instead of chrome), Mullvad VPN, jmp.chat (instead of google voice), and Kagi (instead of google search).
It's a rabbit hole.
Although Fedora was mostly because an update to windows 11 completely broke it and I didn't feel like trying to fix windows so I just wiped my laptop and installed Fedora.
Not an old site, but Wiby.me is a search engine for old web style sites.
I couldn't get coinbase to work, but their webapp is good enough for me. I had to turn on compatibility mode for a couple others.
Hopefully the next step will be compost pickup.
One of the founders of pebble is supposedly making one, the target price is $800 though which is too much for me.

I don't know if it's loyalty but I get all happy when I see a comment or post by someone on my instance on a community outside my instance.
If you use the Cheogram app for JMP.chat it works like a normal call and messaging service. You can make phone calls through the dialer app or cheogram and send and receive messages through cheogram. The app takes you through setting everything up on the first run. The only issue I've had is that group messages only show the phone number and not the contact.
That being said, if you're only using it occasionally, Mysudo has a $0.99 plan while JMP.chat is $4.99.
Istanbul requires a Turkish phone number or for you to scan your passport at a console.
I've had no issues with it except for one hostel I tried to email not getting my email. The web interface isn't the best, but I access my email almost exclusively though IMAP. I've also set up my calendar and contacts though it.
I picked posteo over proton and tutamail because of the IMAP support. I didn't want to use a proprietary app.
