  • Any high speed rail system in the United States will ignore small and medium sized towns in favor of directly connecting large cities which in my opinion is more important. High speed rail will probably follow the highway system, it's best public transportation be condensed in the city so the most riders possible use it. Bikes and walking should be used more often than any subway however.

America's infrastructure is unique in that it was designed around the car, this design has to be destroyed and cannot be retrofitted because humans cannot walk as fast as a car and trains cannot go into the same places as a car either. Banning the sale of gasoline will be a start, and that will hurt lots of people. That's why city living should be mandatory, any other way requires a car.

  • Who here isn't? My vision for the future isn't particularly original or reactionary. I'm just trying to be ahead of the curb so when the left does adopt an anti rural policy I'm already on it. Like how do you expect these people to get around without cars? Walk dozens or even hundreds of miles a day? Ride horses? Don't we want to ban all animal exploitation? Your neighbor will murder you for trying to enforce a can ban on him, you want to don't you? What's the only option besides moving all people into urban centers? It's not even bad and you know it and you know the right will fight to the death over it. I want to live long enough to see that.

  • I'll jump out of the overton window, rural and suburban areas should not exist and the people living there should be forcefully relocated to the cities so the land could be reclaimed by nature. Humanity should be concentrated into dense mega cities with the only way of leaving is by state funded public transport that way chuds, antivaxxers, and reactionaries have no way of ever being allowed to travel.
