  • In 8.5 hours you’re giving that person 1000 years of time to think about exactly how they’re going to kill you when their 8.5 hours are up.

I'm pretty sure a person would be more likely to come out of 1,000 years of imprisonment as a gibbering, broken shell of a person than as an angry, violent revenge-machine.

  • The only person I personally know who is way into Q nonsense was 36 when she got redpilled. It seems to me like the people who are really into the OG QAnon shit (like actually following the Q drops and believing that a massive uprising is imminent) tend to be at least in their mid-30s, while the people who get into it via #SaveTheChildren or new age type bullshit and are mostly concerned with Hollywood sickos and sex trafficking conspiracy theories are significantly younger.

Yeah, my dad is a tenured professor at a state school in PA. He actually just retired prior to this current semester, but he taught there for 25 years and it was a really sweet gig. I honestly can't think of anyone who has genuinely loved their job as much as he did. But since the mid-00s, he hasn't really suggested going into university academia to many of his students, because it's just not the same job that it used to be. Being in school till you're 30 just to end up as an adjunct professor making $30k with no benefits or guarantee of work from year to year while your university builds stadiums and rec centers just isn't worth it.

Yeah, I learned to read with Marvel comics. That shit has had its hooks in me for as long as I've been aware of culture. Even when the movies are really bad (both in terms of being bad movies and being bad morally), I still pretty much always like them.
