  • "the end of all wanting, is all I've been wanting "

I think about these lines a lot. Above the desire for some vague feeling of happiness in life, above all the pains of "purpose" and "meaning", I really think what I actually want out of life, is to simply not want anything else. I understand consumerism, I've watched adam curtis' documentary "the century of the self," I'd like to think of myself as a pretty dedicated socialist, but yet, I constantly find myself obsessing over things to buy. Books, vinyl records, used corduroy jeans, It's fucking inescapable. I pulled up to the gas station the other day, and the gas pump started playing me a commercial... I really don't know what to do anymore.

  • exactly, even the idea of co-pay, deductible and oopm are insane. Like imagine starting ANY other business in america and telling your customers that they need to pay you 400 a month for your service, but before they can use it they need to come up with a deductible. By the time you get to explaining oopm and co-insurance they will have already told you to get fuck'd.

"Translated from Amharic Your magic will not go unnoticed, and your unfortunate actions will lead you to great emptiness where your suffering will come. Everything you have ever done is in vain, and your possessions will be less than before."
